Fable was the champion stallion at the 2004 stallion grading in Denmark, where he was competing in training level dressage. He is a purebred Knabstrupper - a rare and ancient breed of spotted warmblood. Knabstruppers are known for their intelligence, willingness, and easy going temperaments, as well as their spots. Fable is registered ad approved with the Danish Knabstrupper Association (KNN) and the American Knabstrupper Association (AKA). After being imported in 2006, Fable began training for the jumper ring where he entered his first "A" rated show after just 6 weeks of professional training in the Level 1 and Level 2's with consistent results. Fable LOVES to jump and is fearless! He has yet to encounter any obstacle he will even look twice at, and NEVER thinks about stopping. He is very forgiving as well, and all of these attributes makes him an excellent amateur jumper. He since has competed up to Level 3, and is always a contender. Fable is also a great mover with elastic, elevated paces, and has a head turning presence - he draws attention wherever he goes. He shows tremendous potential for the dressage ring and has 3 beautiful gates. As a breeding stallion, he has produced 8 top quality foals - 3 solid and 5 spotted - and is a proven sire. Experienced on trails, has been camping with a high-line, great through water, up/down mountains, through brush, alone or in a group. Also catty and quick mover, can get down in the dirt and turn or stop, would make good working western or gaming horse. Sound and energetic for endurance, has many miles at a super-comfortable trot. Great manners, no kick, buck, rear, strike; easy to shoe, clip, load & haul, bathe, easy with vet. Cannot be bred but has many years left to be your active best friend. I need to cut back by one horse as I can't use all three of mine and have moved to Alaska, and she has to be it or I wouldn't let her go.
