Andalusian Stallion - Companero - At Stud
From MJ Bitner: "Companero is a 16 hh Andalusian at stud. He is of incredible pure spanish type, with fabulous gaits; high movement and plenty of extension. He is sweet, generous, kind, willing, and forgiving. "Comp" is athletic and versatile. He has been shown at halter; best movement; dressage open and dressage suitability; show hack; liberty; and is always a crowd favorite with his stunning presence and beauty. He is an excellent trail horse and has worked cattle too. He is schooling upper level work, flying changes, piaffe, passage, spanish walk, pirouettes, half pass; and also works in the long lines and begining levade. He is the most talented horse I've ever ridden. He is a Spanish Norman Foundation sire as well. His foals are leggy, gorgeous movers with tons of presence. He is sired by a BAY and is HETEROZYGOUS GREY,and DOES throw color, even from GREY mares. His semen ships extremely well, AI or Live cover on approved mares. LFG $950 Partbred $1,500 Purebred. Comp is standing at SNOWY RANGE RIDING SCHOOL. (Owned by RITA GRESLIN RICARD of Dakota Winds Andalusians ).

North Forks Cardi
I'm a die-hard Friesian fan, but when North Forks Cardi performed last summer at Devonwood, it got my attention. This is an unbelievable example of the Welsh Cob and exemplifies the type of horses we like to represent at Tailwind Farm.---CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO OF NORTH FORKS CARDI . From his owners: --Date foaled: May 2001-----Location: Yelm, Washington-----Height: 14.3-----Stud Fee: $1200 USD (Live cover, or fresh cooled; AI)-----Offering talented youngstock for sale and Stallion Service to Welsh Cob Stallion Cardi, [NOT FOR SALE] who completed an incredible 2006 show seaon. Showing 2nd Level Dressage, he was Champion or Res. Champion at every qualifying Show with scores from mid-60s to 73.3%. He topped off his Dressage Season winning the Region 6 CHAMPIONSHIP with 69% and the NW Res. CHAMPIONSHIP with 70%. At the NW Sporthorse Breeder's Ch. Show, Cardi was CHAMPION of the 4/5 y.o. Materiale class with 83.5%, also winning the Best Mature Horse of Show and the Best of Breed Sportpony Championship & Welsh Grand Champion Cob and Res. Supreme CHAMPION at Gold-Rated Show. In addition Cardi was the USDF All Breed Awards 2nd Level Winner. Cardi trail rides, freejumps, he cuts cows [now that's funny] and he loves to lie down on cue to receive a well-deserved back scratch. He has an intelligent and kind disposition, with lots of character. His movement is suspended, [warmblood movement he passes on] correct and extreme, and as one DSHB judge put it, "He correctly uses ALL of himself". A dressage judge gave him three 9s and wrote: "WOW!!! Well presented test on talented pony! A pleasure to judge. Good training & riding." He's headed to Grand Prix! As a 2 y.o., Cardi was ASPR 1st Premium Approved and showed Judge Lowenfish his excellent form over jumps, earning an 8.5 and being Site Res. Champion. Every one of Cardi's foals brought forward for inspection have been 1st Premium with two Site Champions and two Site Res. Champions. --------- Call for more information about his pedigree and breeding contract. Contact Name: Cindy Contact Phone: 541-746-4760
