About Us
My husband, Loren, and I are both airline pilots. He's a Captain at NW Airlines on the 747-400. I am type rated in the 767 and hold a co-pilot position at Hawaiian Airlines. Our careers allow us to have a laid-back attitude about the horses, yet we are trained to thrive on details and quality.
About Laurie
As a youngster, I enjoyed summer vacation on my grandpa's farm in Canada and had horses in Oregon. My background was 4-H and rodeo. I had strong support from my parents, who are still my best friends. As an adult, I am studying and practicing dressage. I love the Friesian mind and ability and enjoy studying the different friesian bloodlines.
About our Partners in Holland
We only buy our horses through our partners, Eric and Miranda Wulms. They are the owners of the approved stallion, Ymte 407. They have a very good reputation to uphold and only represent the best quality horses. The niche market is the high-end Friesians and unusual bloodlines not always available in the US. Both Eric and Miranda have busy lives outside of the horses, so they also look at the horses as a fun aspect of their lives.
Miranda
Miranda is an accomplished dressage competitor and participates in a Friesian Carousel group. She is pictured on her mare Axima who goes for IBOP tests December 2007. She is a wonderful mom and a very pleasant hostess to guests. We appreciate the family values the Wulms' bring to our partnership. Their daughter, Danique, is also competing well in dressage at age 9!
