About Tailwind Friesians - Laurie LaNel Peterson
Tailwind Friesians is located in the Pacific Northwest in the United States. The creation of Tailwind Friesians is the result of Laurie's passion for the Friesian horse. Laurie is a Boeing 767 First Officer for Hawaiian Airlines. She has orchestrated the import of many Friesian Horses from The Netherlands and helped her peers to network in the placement of the right horse into the right home. Laurie is currently schooling in the art of dressage on her Friesians with a local coach. Laurie also studies the bloodlines and stallions approved by the FPS and FHANA. Breeding and foaling of Friesian Horses at Tailwind Friesians follow the goals of the FPS and FHANA. References are available.
Imports from the Netherlands come from Eric Wulms. His mares are producing impeccable offspring; some of which have been selected for stallion testing. Eric has studied damlines and bloodlines extensively and is very knowledgeable. He has an eye for the most valuable, aesthetically pleasing, and useful horses and will not compromise on quality. I have been involved with him for over five years and never been disappointed in his choices or judgement. I am fortunate to have such a valuable partner in The Netherlands and wish to offer his expertise, judgement, and contacts to Friesian enthusiasts all over the world.
