About Tailwind Friesians - Laurie Peterson

Tailwind Friesians is located in Ellensburg, Washington. The farm is owned by Laurie and Loren Peterson. The creation of Tailwind Friesians is the result of Laurie's passion for the Friesian horse. By profession, Laurie has flown heavy jets for Hawaiian Airlines. She has orchestrated the import of many Friesian Horses from The Netherlands and helped her peers to network in the placement of the right horse into the right home. Laurie is currently schooling in the art of dressage on her Friesians with a local coach. Laurie also studies the bloodlines and stallions approved by the FPS and FHANA. Breeding and foaling of Friesian Horses at Tailwind Friesians follow the goals of the FPS and FHANA. References are available.
About Eric and Miranda Wulms - Pictured is Ymte 407 and Miranda
Imports from the Netherlands come from the Wulms family. They are the owners of Ymte 407. Their mares are producing impeccable offspring; some of which have been selected for stallion testing. They are very knowledgeable about bloodlines. Eric has an eye for the most valuable, aesthetically pleasing, and useful horses. Miranda is an accomplished dressage competitor and trainer and is currently showing Ymte in dressage. Both Eric and Miranda have lives outside of the horses that involve business and family. This allows them to have a more relaxed attitude toward exporting horses to the United States without pressuring the customer.
