Berend is a fantastic horse both under saddle and around the barn. He was imported from the Netherlands in the fall of 2006 and was owned by just one family prior to import. He is very in tune with his person and bonds strongly. His movement is animated and a blast to ride - not a lazy horse in the slightest! He is always ready to work and loves to go out on the trail. His sire is the very talented and highly respected Jasper (who is excelling at dressage and thought to be a good candidate to be the next Preferent stallion in the Netherlands) and his son has his great work ethic and athletic ability. In the short time that I have had Berend, he has proven himself to be a very special horse who is sadly for sale for financial reasons. He needs a person who can appreciate his qualities and enjoy his love of movement and potential under saddle.
