Welcome to Tailwind Friesians. We are experienced in the import of FPS/FHANA Friesian horses. We have and breed quality horses here in Washington and at our affiliate farm in the Netherlands. Tailwind Friesians aspires to unite you with the horse that suits your goals and expectations through hard work, integrity, and experience. Our herd is purposely small enough to honestly evaluate each horse. We're happy to answer questions from all experience levels and all ages and we are open to feedback to make your experience the best.

Horses For Sale
Horses are organized by Geldings/Stallions, Mares, and Colts/Fillies 2 and under.
We list our European horses in Euros because the Euro fluctuates with the US dollar. We do not pad our prices to cover those fluctuations. You only pay the actual cost of the horse and the actual invoiced import costs. For your convenience, we have provided a link to a CURRENCY CONVERTER . Import costs vary depending upon your location, how many horses you ship, the gender, and the age of the horse. We're happy to discuss the import process with you. Tailwind Friesians takes care of routine details from purchase until release in LAX or NYC. We also help with quarantine arrangements and can help you choose a trucking company if necessary. Horses located in the US are listed in US dollars.

April 28th - 5AM - Amber dJ (Folkert x Leffert) gave birth to "Brammetje." We call him "Bram." This is a derivative of the name "Abraham" and also the name of a character in a Dutch childrens book about a magic lantern. His sire is Nanning. This is a big, leggy boy with attitude!

NEW UPDATE from Xena:
"...Sjoerd WON and is now the 2007 IFSHA World Champion 2 year old colt. Then I presented him in the Stallions of all ages amateur to handle class and we took Reserve World Champion against all older stallions in the second biggest class. Sjoerd then went into the Baroque Stallions of all ages class and again took Reserve World Champion beating out all the older stallions again! 3 classes 3 World Champion/Reserve Champion titles! We are thrilled and blessed! Sjoerd is under saddle and we look forward to an exciting halter and riding career for him in 2008 as a three year old.... Just wanted to share more exciting new with you. If it were not for you.......none of this would be possible for Sjoerd or us! We never forget you and the part you played in bringing him into our lives. Thank you Laurie & God bless you!!"
